10am – 3pm
Show: 1pm & 7pm on last day
Chapel Hill High School
Cost: $450

This all-day, 2-week camp is a fun-filled and energetic camp WHILE simultaneously reflecting the life of theatre with some hard-working and dedicated hours. This camp is designed for those performers who have prior experience and truly love the theatre, with over 50 hours of direction from some of the regions most talented instructors.

Adapted from the 1952 movie of the same name, the plot closely adheres to the original. Set in Hollywood in the waning days of the silent screen era, it focuses on romantic lead Don Lockwood, his sidekick Cosmo Brown, aspiring actress Kathy Selden, and Lockwood’s leading lady Lina Lamont, whose less-than-dulcet vocal tones make her an unlikely candidate for stardom in talking pictures. Filled with every memorable moment from the film and a downpour of unforgettable songs, Singin’ in the Rain is a guaranteed hit

“Role Placement” day is on May 21st.
